Is the end of the league for Real Madrid?

In a unfourtunate combination of results, Real Madrid fall eight points behind leader Barcelona after suffering a defeat against Sporting while Barcelona got a 1-0 controversial victory in a very difficult field against Villareal.

While is not the end of the League for the the team, it seems very difficult that they will be able to catch Barcelona in this amazing year for the catalan team.

However, injuries, excess of work and mainly the Barcelona dependence from Leo Messi could change the outcome.

Real Madrid Missing Stars

For Real Madrid, injuries have been a serious drawback this year, having stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema  and Di Maria missing some games because of injuries. In particular, this last game which had this disastrous result lacked the pressense of several stars.

The result was particularly bad because was got at home, where the white team seemed to be unbeatable.

Real Madrid in the Champions League

Tomorrow Madrid will face a hard match against Tottenham for the Champions League. For this game, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Di Maria have been included in the match list regardless their known injuries as Real Madrid cannot afford to loose in the Champions as the title slips through their hands.
